Kamusta
Kamo???!
Well
I bet I have had a crazier week than you guys, haha. This week was full of a
lot of surprises and a lot of changes. It seems like I am starting a whole new
phase of my mission and I still am kind of surprised, but it should some
exciting times here in the coming weeks and months.
So
this week everyone was still confused and were wondering why the transfer news
had not come out. But finally on tuesday we got a text that we should all go
check our emails and find out what is going on with transfers. When we went to
the computer shop we were surprised to find out that my companion (Elder Dass)
would be transferred and I would be staying in Iloilo City ward for my 4th
transfer. So that was the first surprise. Then a few minutes later I received
an email containing the transfer sheet of where everyone was transferring and I
was like "why are the sending this to me?" Then I scrolled down and
saw my name as a new Zone Leader of a newly created zone (city zone) and I was
very surprised. So then on Thursday was transfer day. I spent like the whole
day waiting for my new companion until he finally got here. My new companion is
Elder Weber from Idaho Falls, this is his 6th area and probably his last as he
only has 2 transfers left. He is a really hard worker and we have been doing
great. It has kind of been a crazy week here in the mission, so many people
transferred and everything changed, but I have no doubt that President Cruz is
called of God and he is doing what is best for this mission. I had a really
good talk with him on the phone as he told me that the Lord has called my
companion and I to help other missionaries and to help this mission. We also
just had a great interview with the APs, so even though I was surprised and I
still and trying to understand how to do this, I know that I am never alone,
should be a good experience.
Well
after that crazy start to the week it was pretty normal Friday until the end of
the week. We had a lot of great lessons and received so many referrals through
this awesome new revelation by President Cruz of completely involving the
members in our work and so far it has been awesome we have received so many
referrals and it is so much better than before. It is just a great time to be
in this mission.
Also
this week we had a great lesson with this family of 5 we have been teaching for
a couple of weeks now and I am so excited for them, they had so many questions
and the spirit was so strong as My companion and I shared experiences of having
our prayers answered and then promised them that if they would read the Book of
Mormon and pray, they will also receive an answer. It was awesome, before they
were hesitant to do the things we were asking them to do, but now they are
excited, the spirit is so powerful.
Well
Thats enough for this week! Love you guys a lot! Thanks for everything!
Palangga
ko kamo!
