Kamusta
Kamo??!!
Wow
this week has been a fast one!! It was a busy one, not a usually busy, busy
with a lot of meetings, but it was a great week!!! I appreciated all of your
emails this week, always great to hear from you all!
So
this week on Thursday Friday and Saturday we had meetings so with that and
traveling to and from meetings and everything took up a majority of the week!
But at least these meeting were different than the usual meetings that we have!
On thursday and we have a zone conference as a part of a mission tour. Elder
Teh of the seventy was present and even just him being there changed the entire
feeling of the meeting, it was such an amazing experience to be taught by him a
couple of times this last week! The spirit was so strong in all of the
meeting as Elder Teh shared with us what the living prophet and apostles want
for missionary work! He talked a lot about basics of missionary work and how
the Philippines Iloilo mission can improve in finding teaching and baptisms!
One thing that he really emphasized was it depends on our attitude of what we
get out of a meeting. Something he mentioned was that if all we know is what we
see and hear, we will not know very much. He emphasized that we can receive
personal revelation. Then on Friday we had an MLC also with Elder Teh. The
council was the best one, Elder Teh seemed to trust the mission leaders so much
and had confidence in us as we counseled with him and president cruz of how we
can help the mission improve! Overall it was an awesome experience to have a mission
tour with elder Teh!
So
that took up most of our time this week, but something great that happened
because of all the meeting is that we got to have other missionaries who were
too far to go home, work in our area for a couple of hours and within
those hours they found some great new investigators and potential investigators
for us! So for how busy we always are that was a great blessing! We have
already taught a few that they talked to and there is some great potential! One
of them we taught was a sister that is staying here and is watching a bunch of
like 10 year old kids and as we taught the plan of salvation especially the
part about our purpose in life, these super loud kids were asking if they could
have faith today, repent tomorrow and then be baptized the next day haha! BUt
of course we explained to them, that is not how it works! haha!
That
was pretty much our week. We are still preparing The Junsay family and bro
gabawa for their baptisms on Christmas! We are still having some great lessons
with them!
Well
sorry the email is kind of short, next week it will probably be longer! I love
and am so grateful for all of you! We have been so blessed as a family because
of this Gospel so that is why I am here right now! Love you all and have a
great week!
Palangga
Ko kamo!
