Alright
welll not too much to tell you guys about... but it has been a good week!
A
lot kind of went on this week, but the week has flown by! We had exchanges on
tue, zone conference (and McDonalds) on wed, so that was really good!
We
had a really interesting experience this week as we were teaching a like 2nd
lesson, and we were talking about the book of mormon, it was a really powerful
lesson, as well as the first lesson was. But to our surprise as we gave them a
book of mormon and invited them to read it, they said that they would rather
not accept because of their belief in the bible. But the crazy part was that
earlier that morning i had read in mormon ch 7 about how if people believe in
the bible they will believe in the book of mormon, and because of that
study i was prepared to answer their concern and the spirit was really strong as
we promised them that if they would just try to read it and pray about it, they
would know it is from God just as the bible, and they accepted it and committed
to read it. I know it was because of the spirit and studying that we were able
to help them. It is so cool that Heavenly Father prepares us for situations
that we don't even know are coming! We will go back this week to see how their
reading went.
